Meghan McCain Latest Politician's Daughter to Land Reporter Job
Meghan McCain just landed herself a job as an MSNBC contributor, according to a statement released by the news network this morning.
McCain joins politician's daughters Jenna Bush Hager and Chelsea Clinton, who also have reporting jobs with NBC.
It looks like their fame played a huge part in landing them the gigs, which is kind of a shame for all of those reporters with dreams of getting a high profile gig who are currently working their way up from small town local affiliates.
McCain, unlike Clinton and Bush Hager, has semi-proven her worth as a frequent MSNBC contributor but don't even get me started with Bush Hager's glaring lack of experience. I can't speak for Clinton just yet, but would bet the farm she'll have much better delivery than Bush.

The statement reads: "Meghan McCain has joined MSNBC as a contributor, with her first appearance today at noon ET on NOW with Alex Wagner. She has been a frequent MSNBC guest since 2009."
McCain responded with her own statement: "I couldn't more be excited to be joining the MSNBC family. It's a unique opportunity to share my perspective as a Republican on a network I respect and have built a relationship with over the past two years."

McCain is, of course, the daughter of U.S. Senator John McCain, and has written a memoir titled "Dirty Sexy Politics," a children's book called "My Dad, John McCain," and she also writes for The Daily Beast.
