Mel Gibson Clarifies How He Hit Oksana
Thanks for the info, Mel.
Mel Gibson has a different version of abusing Oksana Grigorieva, so we get to play he said, she said just a little while longer! The actor says that he didn't "punch" Oksana; he "slapped" her. As we used to say when I was a kid, same difference.

Mel Gibson stated in court during his recent hearing that he didn't "slap her hard," and he states that he did not "punch [Oksana] in the face or in the temple or anywhere else, not then or at any other time."
Whether or not Mel is telling the truth is one thing, but we do know that "I didn't hit her hard" is one of classic lines in the world of domestic violence. Creepy.
Mel also claims that the incident occurred because Oksana was roughly handling their daughter, Lucia, despite the doctor's examination the following day that show no injuries.
"I slapped Oksana one time with an open hand in an attempt to bring her back to reality," Mel told the court during the custody hearing.
"I did not slap her hard, I was just trying to shock her so that she would stop screaming, continuing shaking Lucia back and forth."

It's interesting to see what sites and celebs are favoring Mel Gibson's side in this mess. For me, all the ones that stick up for Mel haven't been getting as much attention as the ones that plainly identify Mel's actions for what they are: despicable, shady, and scary. As our friends at Celebitchy said, "[Oksana's] bringing the fight to the man who treated her like sh-t, and she's hitting him where it hurts: his wallet, his career, and his reputation."
I co-sign, completely!
