Michael Buble gets blunt
We loved Michael Buble and Emily Blunt as a couple. And though we think Michael is an amazing performer and basically an awesome person, we've heard he's a bit of womanizer. Emily Blunt has been moving on just fine, but now Michael is talking about what happened in their relationship.
Michael Buble was pretty broken up about the end of his relationship with Emily Blunt. So much so that he needed therapy. But that doesn't necessarily mean the breakup was Emily's fault. In fact, Michael pretty much blames the relationship's demise on himself.
Michael says, "It was a whole s**tload of things. It was going through the break-up and asking myself why. I have a tendency to sabotage relationships; I have a tendency to sabotage everything. Fear of success, fear of failure, fear of being afraid. Useless, good-for-nothing thoughts." Well, we're pretty sure Michael hasn't sabotaged his career so far and he seems to be in a pretty fabulous place with his music.
But there were rumors that Michael was dating another girl while he and Emily were still in a relationship and that does sound a lot like sabotaging! So, Michael is getting some therapy and he says that it's actually helping: "I've become a lot more introspective. I've taken the time to get to know myself and to like myself and respect myself."
And we're pretty sure Emily Blunt is quite over Michael too, especially since she's so busy planning her wedding with John Krasinski! And we've heard Michael has a semi-new girl too, Argentine Luisana Lopilato. We wonder if he'll try to sabotage that relationship!
