Michael Jackson, 'Boondock Saints 2' Head to Theaters
Don't forget the Jujubees.
With Fall in full force now, your local cineplex is practically begging for you to come and enjoy a hot bag of popcorn and a tasty Hollywood treat. So pay attention to our quick guide of what's on the menu at theaters this weekend.
The big hitter this week is obviously Michael Jackson's music documentery, This Is It. Pulled together from over 100 hours of behind-the-scenes footage, the film will give fans a sneak peak into what the King of Pop had in store before he passed away earlier this year.
Also in theaters this week is the sequel to the 2000 cult phenomenon, Boondock Saints. The MacManus brothers are back from Ireland to investigate the murder of a priest in Boston, in all the bloody, bullet-riddled goodness the pair became famous for. The film is written and directed by Troy Duffy, and stars Sean Patrick Flannery, Norman Reedus and Billy Connolly.
Fans of indie comedies should check out Gentleman Broncos, the tale of a small-town loner who is home-schooled by his wacky mother (Jennifer Coolidge) and finds solace in his imaginative writing. Soon, one of his stories is ripped off by a legendary fantasy novelist, Ronald Chevalier (the hilarious Jemaine Clement from HBO's Flight of the Conchords), and turned into a terrible movie by his town's famous filmmaker.
