Michael Jackson To Announce Comeback Tour?
Don't call it a comeback...
He's been here for years. You just haven't seen him because he's been hiding under those surgical masks. Not that you'd recognize him anyway - the nose is usually a key identity marker, and without it, well, you're pretty much movin' into alien territory. But repeated rhinoplasty aside, Michael Jackson is still The King of Pop. And the King is making a proclamation.
Music industry sources say Jackson is contemplating a comeback tour. M.J. would make his return to the spotlight with a series of concerts in London. Word on lyrical lane is that Michael may make the announcement sometime today.
Jackson last attempted a comeback in 2006 - when he appeared at the World Music Awards in London. But he bailed after singing just a few lines of "We Are the World" - sadness for fans of Jackson and cheesy, ego-driven charity songs alike.
Our hope is that Michael still has it, but it's been quite a while since the gloved one shook what his mama gave him for all the world to see. Can he still rock the moonwalk? Will the lack of a full nose impact his vocal stylings? Time will tell, PYTs. Time will tell.
