Michael Kors Launching Jewelry Line with Fossil

More to lust after

In an ideal world, I'd have an entire Michael Kors handbag and shoe collection. Unfortunately, the world is not perfect and I don't have the funds for an endless supply of Michael Kors. Now that he's launching a jewelry line with Fossil, I'll be lusting after his jewelry, too, and dreaming of the ideal world!

I know Fossil as the watch company I moved on to once I graduated from Swatch. But in the recent years, they've become so much more than just a mid-range watch company. Michael Kors originally started designing watches with them in 2004 and has finally decided to expand into all kinds of jewelry. I couldn't be more excited!

Kors says in a release, "I've always thought of accessories as the exclamation point of a woman's outfit. Now, with my jewelry collection, I can deliver the full spectrum of the Michael Kors vision for a truly fabulous look."

The Chief Creative Officer of Fossil says, "We believe there is a strong demand for luxury fashion jewelry. This category represents a natural extension of the Michael Kors brand as an essential component in completing the jet-set lifestyle." I couldn't agree more.

Michael Kors believes he'll be able to give ladies the "perfect jewelry box" with his collection, which will range from $100-$500. The pieces will blend chain detail, mixed materials and iconic hardware and I have a feeling it will have that particular Michael Kors look that we all love. And we should be able to get our hands on the jewelry in fall 2011.
