Miley Cyrus' Stylist Talks Album Cover Look
You can get the look, too!
Of course, Miley Cyrus's new image has been getting so much criticism lately, you probably don't want her look. But her stylist is opening up about the thought process that went on when she styled Miley for her Can't Be Tamed album cover shoot. And where the clothing came from.
Love it or hate it, you can't deny that Miley Cyrus is growing up. And though she's dressing how she wants to, she also has the help of a stylist. It wasn't until Miley's "Can't Be Tamed" video came out that we realized she was going for a more scandalous look. And then when we saw her album art, we knew it was true.
Miley's stylist is Simone Harouche and now Simone is talking about Miley's look for the cover. She tells People, "The album cover was basically a strong statement saying in the most simple way, that she can't be tamed-literally and metaphorically..." Yeah, we got that. She's wearing tight leather and a crop-top on the cover, with super messy hair.
.
Simone says Miley's look comes mostly from designer brand, Robins Jeans. She says, "[Miley] is really into leather... Robins Jeans leather jacket is such a cool staple piece: It's embellished without being overly done and the fit is amazing. It's the perfect example of rock 'n' roll clothing." We agree. But maybe it was just a little too much Robins Jeans leather for a 17-year-old (the leggings and crop-top came from the line too).
We wish Miley's stylist would tell us how she really feels about the look. Is she simply doing what Miley's telling her to do or does she really like dressing 17-year-olds up like that?
