Plenty of people weren't surprised about Patti Stanger's broken engagement. She wanted to get engaged for years, but it seemed like her business was her number-one priority. She's back to hunting for Mr. Wonderful after her man didn't want kids.

At least Patti Stanger was very honest about why she split with her man, saying that the fact that she wanted kids and he didn't was a deal breaker. Did she ever think that she was going to convince him otherwise? Or did she really never ask? That's unbecoming of a matchmaker.

"Ever since our first date, he knew I wanted kids, and then something along the way changed," Patti Stanger told Life & Style.

"Andy's a great guy and we'll always remain friends, but he wants me to be something that I can't be. We're better friends than lovers."

Patti's fiance has been with her for a whopping six and a half years. I have been with my husband for almost six years now, and we got married a while back! They had been together longer than we had.

Now Patti Stanger's waiting for the right guy to come around, and with all those options pouring into her company, she should meet the right guy. Oh wait--they all want to date 20-somethings!

"A good guy is out there for me, I know it," Patti said. "A life without kids has no meaning to me. I think the most important job in the world is being a parent or stepparent!"
