Mom Encourages Toddlers Fighting, Takes Video

Here's one for the parenting fail hall of fame -- a mother who posted a video of two toddler girls fighting is coming under fire.

Awful.

This mom decided to not only teach her toddler how to box, but videotaped her child and another toddler in a boxing match while shouting and laughing, saying, "Got some action!" and "Y'all better ball up some fists!"

To say it's disturbing would be an understatement, watching little kids punch this way, seemingly for the mother's entertainment.Shopping

The insanity doesn't end there, however, as she then posted the video to Facebook.

A friend of hers, after seeing the video, sent it to TV station KTVI in St. Louis, Missouri, explaining, "In the black community ... it's really sickening that these kids are learning how to fight, getting guns and stuff ... it shouldn't be going on."

Child welfare officials have now been involved, but there have been no details about the investigation.

St. Louis child psychologist Russell Hyken notes, "Those are small children that really don't even understand what is going on. I mean one child is screaming and the other child continues to go after her. I mean what is going on here?"

He added, "I don't know the law in that area, but as a therapist, and a family therapist at that, I'm pretty concerned the parents are encouraging violence and putting their kids in a physically abusive situation."

Bottom line, you have to ask, "What is wrong with some people?"
