Neve Campbell (Sorta) Talks 'Scream'
Neve Talks About Reprising Sydney Prescott
Neve Campbell probably didn't imagine that she'd return to her Scream roots after all those years, but here she is, talking about bringing Sidney back to the big screen. A lot of us are having flashbacks of the good ol' days of horror-- remember the first time you saw Scream?
There's only one problem. Neve Campbell came off in her most recent interview as a bit of a shill, talking hair products and haircuts. Maybe she's rusty at the whole interview thing? I almost thought I was reading the wrong article when I saw this:
"Physically speaking, it's all about working the bob!" she told BlackBook. "And the only way I can achieve that properly every day on set is through Tara Smith hair products."
Think that's bad? I was sure we were going to segue, albeit awkwardly, into something abotu acting, but we ended up getting more Tara Talk:
"Seriously, if Tara didn't cut and style my hair in an amazing girly way to re-create the Sidney look, I wouldn't have a starting point [for the character]. I'm not kidding. Hers are the only products I can use without killing my hair and skin, as they are 100 percent organic and free of chemicals."
How much did she get paid to say this? I need to know. Finally, Neve, who has been living in London, said that she thinks that filming the fourth Scream movie will be "fun"-- "and a lot like going back to summer camp."
Despite all that confusing hair-sponsor speak, which would've been interesting had it not been so out of place, I am really looking forward to the new Scream. What about you?
