New York Loves You. Dubya Too.
Trailer time. Pork rinds not included.
Some trailers get people talking. These two have the conversation at a dull roar.
New York, I Love You, which comes out early next year, is modeled after the French film Paris, je t'aime. Twelve filmmakers (Coen bros., Gus Van Sant, Wes Craven, Alexander Payne among them) try to capture the nature of romantic love in the big city in a string of five-minute movies. Every PYT in Hollywood makes an appearance (Shia LaBeouf, Blake Lively, Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson, Olivia Thirlby--the list of shiny haired hotties goes on). Not too surprisingly, Gotham-based bloggers are hating on the New York love. Check it out and see if you develop a crush.
George Bush we don't love you. Our (soon to be former) leader President Bush is the subject of Oliver Stone's W.. The drinking, the baseball, the big hats, the Bush clan, it's all there, and sure to cause more than a few flare ups. But isn't that what Oliver Stone is for? Josh Brolin plays George W. Bush. As for Big Bush, Laura Bush, Condoleezza Rice, Dick Cheney, they're all there too. The explosiveness hits theaters October 17. Here's a little spark.
