New 'Hunger Games' Barbie Goes On Sale Today [PHOTO]

EW.Com Told Us a Katniss Barbie Was Coming ...

And, they were right. The new Katniss Everdeen Barbie doll will be on store shelves in August and can be pre-ordered beginning today at 12 pm. ET at BarbieCollector.com.

The designer of the Barbie says "I am a huge Hunger Games fan and loved all three books, so it was truly an amazing experience for me to be able to design the Katniss Barbie doll.I think it really pays tribute to Katniss and The Hunger Games.”

What do you think? I'm just stoked that she's not wearing some slutty little outfit but is geared up the way Katniss is supposed to be!
