New In Town New In Theaters
You're invited to be taken to a new town.
Horror January comes to a screeching halt with The Uninvited. Like many a freaky film, this one comes by way of Asia; it's a remake of the South Korean horror film A Tale of Two Sisters. Like that title suggests, the film follows two sisters (Emily Browning and Arielle Kebbel) as they discover their future stepmother (Elizabeth Banks) is more maniacal than motherly. The girls must warn their father that the pretty lady is dark as night on the inside.

Sinister motives are at the heart of Taken, a kidnapping thriller starring Liam Neeson. Neeson plays Bryan, a former spy whose daughter (Maggie Grace) is abducted and forced into the slave trade. So annoying when that happens. To get her back, Bryan must navigate through nasty organized crime circles, following clues, and kicking some arse along the way.
.
And, last but not least, Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. star in New in Town, which might possibly be the worst film to come out so far this year - Bride Wars included. Zelleweger plays a busy executive, disconnected from people, and relationships, and, like, herself. After relocating to small town Minnesota, she's forced to re-evaluate her life (and her agent).
