'New Moon' Premiere Highlights: Photos and Video!

Your once in a New Moon review of the red carpet.

Reports claim that some fans actually camped all weekend outside the Mann Village Theater and Bruin Theater in the Westwood neighborhood in Los Angeles. But lucky for you, LimeLife has coverage of Monday night as the cast from New Moon took the red carpet! Also present were Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer and stars like Joan Jett, Peter Facinelli's wife/actress Jennie Garth and So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley...

But, of course, the New Moon cast are the ones we want to know about! Cast mates like Robert Pattinson (in a Gucci suit; see slideshow below), Kristen Stewart (in stunning Oscar de la Renta), Taylor Lautner (Calvin Klein), Dakota Fanning and Peter Facinelli were whisked from interview to interview on the red carpet before they finally entered the theater at approximately 11 p.m. Los Angeles time (an eyewitness says security guards checked the stars' credentials numerous times before allowing them entry).

Of the premiere, Robert Pattinson said, "...it seems different to me because we have done this world tour in the last week and it has just been unbelievable in every single city. It is about 10 times bigger than any other city in the world." Kristen Stewart said the crowd made her just a little nervous: "At some point, the security guy said, 'This is very unsafe.' And I was like, 'Uh.' Other than that, everything was cool." Stewart also said, ""I'm not as scared as I was last year."
