We just got more information about the upcoming New Moon soundtrack and we're thrilled by some of the musicians billed to be on it! Like we needed to get even more excited about Twilight!

The Twilight movies are genreally associated with a younger crowd. But the soundtracks seem to be getting more mature. We just got word of some of the musicians who will be having tracks on the New Moon soundtrack and while we're a bit surprised, we're very excited!

The director of New Moon, Chris Weitz says that Thom Yorke of Radiohead is submitting his New Moon song for approval today! And as Chris says, "Unless it's sounds of him belching, I think I'll put it in."

Radiohead actually had a song, "15 step,"  in the credits of the first Twilight movie and we're psyched they're coming back for more.

And we're especially excited about the fact that Bon Iver is also writing a song for the new movie!

According to Weitz, "I selfishly want to put songs in by artists I love. And some of the cast and crew also happen to love. I think [Bon Iver] is fantastic. He says he wrote it for the film, but who ever knows if it might just be something laying around in his cupboard."

Weitz says he would also love for Kings of Leon to play something for the soundtrack. Whatever the case, we love it. But are wondering if Twilight will cause bands like Radiohead and Bon Iver to become more mainstream.
