'New Moon' Star Kisses Italian Fan On Red Carpet
New Moon's Volturi stampeded by fans at Rome Film Festival pre-release.
We have been dying for a sneak peek at New Moon, but it turns out that filmgoers at the Rome Film Festival this week are the only ones getting a glimpse...and one blood-struck Italian girl is truly living the dream.
How cool is this. New Moon's Volturi Jamie Campbell Bower ("Caius"), Charlie Bewley ("Demetri") and Cameron Bright ("Alec") traveled back to Rome where parts of New Moon were filmed to attend the Rome Film Festival and promote a coveted pre-release of the Twilight sequel. The gentlemen reportedly received the royal treatment as they toured Rome Wednesday afternoon.
But the red carpet is where things heated up for Bower, Bewley and Bright. It's said that today, they entered the film festival with real-life flag-weavers from Volterra, a village in the Tuscan region which is exactly where the Volturi are said to come from. And just a short while ago on a movie-insider database, a report was published suggesting that England-born Jamie Campbell Bower smooched one fan on the cheek for a photo and sent her swooning. Maybe you don't have to be a real vampire for your kiss to make a girl want to die!

Check out our photo gallery featuring Charlie Bewley. Then, if Rome's too far, the New Moon illustrated companion might keep you satiated until New Moon's November 20 release (as the Italians say, we won't look at the clock until then -- in other words, we can't wait!).
Plus, stay tuned for our exclusive interview series next week with Eclipse's Julia Jones -- what she reveals about the set and her co-stars will dazzle you!
