Working out werewolves

Taylor Lautner is the Twilight werewolf most everyone is talking about. But guess what? Chaske Spencer is pretty hot too. And we'll be getting to know him a lot better once New Moon comes out (why isn't November hurrying fast enough?). Chaske Spencer is talking about how he turned into a werewolf.

It doesn't sound like it's very easy to turn into a werewolf! In fact, Chaske Spencer makes it sound like a lot of hard work. He says, "It was like a basic training. I had been going to the gym before I went up to Vancouver and just to keep in shape I go to the gym regularly but when we got there it was a whole different beast all together. They got us a trainer, and he had helped out the actors in 300 get in shape."

You know it's serious stuff when they hire a trainer to whip the New Moon werewolves into shape! Chaske says they worked out every day: "...he threw us into circuit training and muscle confusion workouts and we hit it pretty hard for about an hour and hour and a half."

But wait a minute, this whole training thing actually doesn't sound so bad. Chaske continues, "First thing in the morning that's what we'd do. And then we just eat all day. It's pretty much four to six meals a day plus three to four protein shakes a day as well." We could handle working out for an hour and a half in the morning and then hanging out and eating all day!

We wonder if there are any openings for werewolves in the upcoming Twilight movies. In any event, we're excited to get to know Chaske Spencer a little bit more!
