Justin Bieber is the first guest host for Punk'd, premiering Thursday, March 29, on MTV.
Now, five years since we last saw the prankeriffic show, Punk'd will include hosts like Bam Margera, Hayden Panettiere, Kellan Lutz, Miley Cyrus, Nick Cannon and Heather Morris. Stars like Taylor Swift, Liam Hemsworth, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Hutcherson, Emma Roberts and Snooki will be on the receiving end of the pranks.
Kutcher tells USA Today, "There's a whole new crop of talented stars, celebrities, entertainers and athletes that weren't even around when we were shooting the show
Co-creator and executive producer Jason Goldberg adds, "It's fresh thinking. It's a different way to approach the show. Justin's show is so different from Bam's show, but both work. It's their thinking and their vision for it."
MTV network programming chief David Janollari talks about keeping the star power young and relevant in this newly revamped Punk'd: "We have a history of reinventing (for) our audience, which is ever-changing. I don't think we've seen a time where this young core audience is more fascinated and more engaged with celebrity. The timing feels perfect."
