It’s not everyone’s favorite night but, throw in Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hilary Swank, Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, Sienna Miller, Seth Meyers, Jon Bon Jovi, Lea Michele, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Ice Cube, and Katherine Heigl, and you've got yourself one heck of a New Year's Eve.

No, I’m not talking about some A-lister party that us mere mortals are forbidden from entering. All of those big Hollywood names are actually part of the cast list for the upcoming, star-studded movie, New Year’s Eve. If a celeb isn’t in this flick, then really, who are they?

The premise of the movie is that a melting pot of characters are in New York to celebrate New Year. Naturally, their lives entwine in dramatic and romantic ways, leading to the usual hilarity and excitement that overpaid actors provide. If the plot sounds a little too familiar i.e. Valentine’s Day but on a different calendar month; that’s because the director, Garry Marshal, was also responsible for, erm, Valentine’s Day.

Unfortunately, New Year’s Eve won’t be released until December 9 because, you know, a movie about New Year’s Eve won’t quite fit in August. Until then though, we have the brand new trailer for you to watch right here, right now. All I can say about the one minute sneak peak is. . . wow.
