In a verse on the track Mercy from Lil Wayne's new mix tape release, Dedication 4, Minaj raps about voting for Mitt Romney.

But is she serious?

Minaj raps, "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy b----es is f---ing up the economy."

Harsh, but it doesn't necessarily mean she's voting for Romney. After all, Minaj takes on many personalities as a performer and loves to be the center of attention, so maybe she's just creating some buzz?

Rapper Talib Kweli, seems to think it's a publicity stunt, tweeting: "I doubt Nicki seriously supports Romney. Her lyrics ain't political. She just wants y'all to talk about her & she winning cuz it's working!"

He's not wrong.

So far, Minaj has yet to take to Twitter to let people in on her thoughts behind the lyrics, but she's usually pretty vocal when it comes to fans hating on her, so we'll have to see what she has to say.
