Nicolas Cage going 3D for his next movie

Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage is getting the 3D treatment. The star has just signed on to star in a new revenge action movie called Drive Angry - which will be shot in 3D.

The movie will be directed by Patrick Lussier, who has experience shooting in 3D and last directed My Bloody Valentine 3D, which grossed $51 million in the US. Written by Lussier and Todd Farmer, the story centres on a man, played by Cage, driven by rage to chase the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta and rescue spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway. Shooting is set to star next April in Louisiana.
