Obamas to Stay at Buckingham Palace
But not for the event you're thinking.
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle have been invited to stay at England's most famous residence, and indeed the Obamas will have a sleepover with the Queen in spring. It's not for the April 29 royal wedding, however! Here's why the Obamas are snuggling up at Buckingham Palace.
Barack and Michelle Obama are almost certain to make an appearance at Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton in London on April 29. While the Obamas will be two of the highest-profile guests there, they're not so important that they'll camped out at Queenie's house!

But Queen Elizabeth has extended the invitation for the Obamas to stay at Buckingham Palace a month later. "Us" reported Friday:
Queen Elizabeth is hosting the Obamas for an official state visit from May 24 through 26, the Queen's press secretary confirms ... This will be the first state visit from a United States president since President George W. Bush went across the pond in November 2003.

Meanwhile, Michelle Obama has told reporters that she's not 100% sure she and the President will be attending the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Meanwhile we're hearing that a teenager in Mexico is on a hunger strike in demand for a ticket to the royal wedding! Gotta run for office if you want into this party, pal!
