Octomom in Rehab: What About Nadya Suleman's Kids?
Octomom Enters Rehab for Pill Addiction
I guess we already knew that Octomom wasn't likely winning any Mother of the Year awards.
Now comes news that Octomom Nadya Suleman has entered rehab for a prescription pain pill addiction.
What about her kids?
Octomom's 14 kids are currently in the care of nannies while Suleman gets treatment at Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center in California.
Suleman was reportedly addicted to the anti-anxiety drug Xanax.
Octomom's rep issued the following statement to TMZ: "Nadya wanted to get off the Xanax she was prescribed by her doctor and learn to deal with her stress, exhaustion and anxiety with professional help with a team of doctors. Nadya wanted to deal with her issues and make sure she is the best mother she can be."
Her treatment will last 30 days - during that time, the children will be cared for by three different nannies.
Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com reports that Suleman has a drinking problem, even driving drunk with her kids in the car, according to a former nanny.
