Owen Wilson in New Woody Allen Movie

An unlikely actor

When you think of Woody Allen movies, Owen Wilson probably isn't the first actor that comes to mind. But allegedly Woody has his eye on Owen and wants him to star in his next movie. And it sounds like Rachel McAdams will be his leading lady.

Could it be that Woody Allen is a fan of Wedding Crashers? After all, Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams first played an adorable couple in that movie. And now Woody wants them in a movie of his own. While Woody Allen is all about the comedy, Owen Wilson's slightly immature (but hilarious) comedy isn't exactly what you think of when you think of Woody Allen. So, it will be interesting to see if Woody changes his tone for Owen or if Owen changes his acting style a bit for Woody.

The movie is still untitled, but set to start filming in France this summer. It will also star Marion Cotillard and France's First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy has been mentioned as a possible cast member.

While Woody Allen movies are generally hit-or-miss for me, I'm looking forward to seeing how Owen Wilson is in an Allen movie. And of course, I'm looking forward to the reunion of Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams!
