PETA Pelts Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen
Derelict, with bloody fur and a $700 Gucci clutch.
Just in case you're not going to be Sarah Palin for Halloween, PETA has a suggestion.
The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants you to dress up as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and it's not because the org considers the twins role models.
In fact, PETA has such a problem with the pair that they've deemed them Hairy-Kate and Trashley Trollsen with an explanation that "..only someone as heartless as a troll would wear the skins of dead animals." Harsh.
It's not the first time the org has set their anti-fur sites on the Olsens. Plenty of celebs wear and promote pelts, but PETA believes the pair to be highly influential, so the venom is directed at the fashionista twins. At peta2.com you can putter with the gory Trollsen costume features, or get a free Trollsen mask (before Oct. 12).
Can we be fans of the Olsens and disapprove of their fur? PETA says no. We say yes. It's up for debate.
