PETA Has Really Gone Too Far This Time

Their truly tasteless ads have been a staple for years but now PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has gone too far -- even for them.

In a new ad protesting fur "trim" model Joana Krupa goes all out. And then some.

Of course, the methods used to get real "fur trim" are dispicable (especially if you happen to have a hirsute pet of your own whom you adore) but are ads like this appropriate? How do you explain this to your kids?

What's your take? Is PETA being responsible and pro-active in trying to get the anti-fur conversation started or are their ads so "shocking" that the message gets lost?
