Paris Hilton Apologizes to Lindsay Lohan for Rude Comment (WATCH)

It's a known fact that Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan are not the best of friends. And it's just so freaking easy to make fun of Lindsay Lohan! So, I totally don't blame Paris for getting in a little Lindsay quip on her new reality show. But now Paris is apologizing for it.

Of course Oxygen included Paris Hilton's little Lindsay Lohan joke in the preview for her upcoming show, The World According to Paris. And of course they make Paris Hilton seem like such a little do-gooder. This whole scene made me laugh, but now Paris is apologizing for it.

The scene shows Paris working with homeless women because, "I love to give back and help out whenever I can." Guys, she's not doing it for her community service; she's doing it because she loves it! Duh. 

One woman asks if she can have Paris Hilton's earrings (which is totally weird, right? Are you really supposed to share earrings? Yuck). Paris kindly says yes and helps the woman put the earrings on (gross) and the woman says, "I'm going to give them to my sister.... And I'm going to tell her that Lindsay... I thought you were suppposed to be in rehab?" Ha! The woman thought Paris was Lindsay Lohan.

Paris immediately says, "I am not her... No, I am not Lindsay." She then says to the camera, "If I were Lindsay, I'd be stealing the earrings, not giving them away." Personally, I thought this comment was hilarious! And true.

But you all know how sensitive Lindsay Lohan can get. According to the New York Daily News, Lindsay complained that Paris was "mean." Ugh. And surprisingly, Paris Hilton felt bad and issued an apology, saying, "I apologize to Lindsay for the comment that I made... I was joking around but it was thoughtless and unnecessary."

If you want to be in the public eye, you need to learn to take a joke or two. I don't get why Lindsay Lohan is always so confused about this!
