Paris Hilton NOT Engaged to Doug Reinhardt, Rep Insists

Loved-up Paris Hilton is not engaged to boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, a spokeswoman for the hotel heiress has insisted. Reports claiming to quote Paris told how Reinhardt proposed while the couple were on a recent romantic break in Hawaii.

But Paris’s spokeswoman has released a statement dismissing the engagement story as a “false rumour” invented by internet bloggers. The rep said: “The rumour of Paris Hilton’s engagement to Doug Reinhardt is inaccurate. “The couple had a lovely time on their vacation and are happy together. However, this is a false rumour and is just another example of bloggers inventing their own story.” Paris had been quoted as telling how Reinhardt got down on one knee during dinner. She reportedly claimed the couple were planning a Christmas wedding.
