Plus details on the $650,000 ring.

Love me do: well I certainly would, if Paul McCartney proposed to me with this! Word's out on the massive engagement ring McCartney bestowed on his new fiancee, Nancy Shevell, and we're also hearing buzz that despite the alimony hell he went through with Heather Mills, he's not asking Nancy to sign a prenup.

Last Friday, one week after England's royal wedding, another major English status symbol -- Paul McCartney -- hit headlines with his own new engagement. McCartney has proposed to his girlfriend of four years, Nancy Shevell, and he's had fun half-joking that he's forever-committed to Shevell because he just loves to be in love.

But what we're hearing about the terms of the relationship is no laughing matter. Apparently McCartney isn't pressuring Nancy Shevell to sign a prenuptial agreement, despite the ridiculous spousal support scandal Heather Mills subject the former Beatle to (a 2007 report from CBS suggested Mills would get $19,000 per day from McCartney). Maybe when you have the most coveted music publishing library in the world, money truly is no object...or maybe Paul McCartney really is just crazy in love.

Like, really crazy.

The report we're hearing comes from the "Daily Mail" via Celebitchy.com. Sources say Paul McCartney isn't demanding a prenuptial agreement at all; instead, "McCartney's lawyers have drawn up a simple one-page document, saying that in the event that the new marriage fails Miss Shevell won't make a claim on the trust funds of any of his children, and that seems to be enough for them both."

Meanwhile we've followed Celebitchy's link (at the top in blue) to view the diamond McCartney reportedly paid $650,000 for. See Nancy Shevell walking a little crooked this week? Hey Paul McCartney, will you marry me?
