And $2 million, too!

Wow, it sounds like Paula's being picky! Good for her. Did you know Paula Abdul was offered the chance to replace Samantha Harris as the co-host of Dancing With the Stars? And offered $2 million to do so? But Paula said no!

We're still waiting to see Paula Abdul's next big move since losing her job at American Idol. And we're thinking Paula must have something up her sleeve because she turned down $2 million and a chance to co-host Dancing With the Stars. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to us. But according to a source, "The offer was flattering, but in the end she passed. Frankly, Paula doesn't need the money and she didn't want to leap into another reality TV contest right away."

Well, that makes sense. But Paula Abdul definitely must have something else planned or else we do think she'd take the position. After all, look at everything they were offering her: "They offered to redecorate her dressing room, threw in a $500,000 wardrobe budget, and agreed to let Paula wear more than designer dress per show. They also tried to sweeten the deal by allowing Paula to develop her own sitcom and do The X Factor with Simon Cowell when he starts the show in 2011."

Wow! She seems a bit crazy to turn all that down. But we give her lots of credit for not settling just because she's been out of the spotlight for a while. But we hope she makes her next big move soon because we miss her! Should we expect to see her on Simon Cowell's upcoming American X Factor?

DWTS didn't take too long to find someone to fill the position, though. It sounds like former contestant Brooke Burke will be the new co-host!
