Forbes magazine came out with its annual list of the most powerful celebrities. You know what that means: another depressing round of feeling like a peasant.    

Beautiful models and entertainers rack it in. Beyonce shook her money-maker for all it’s worth, managing to squeeze out an amazing $80 million. Gisele Bündchen, everyone’s favorite Brazilian, made $35 million last year--that’s just under her country’s gross domestic product.

There is also a rash of young stars who make more money than most of us could ever dream of. Miley Cyrus earned more in millions (25) than years she’s been alive (15), and Mary-Kate Olsen gobbled up $17 million with her clothing lines and book deal.

Of course, none of these celebrities come anywhere near the pile of money under Oprah Winfrey. Her 2007 take was $275 million! It explains why guests on her show get free makeovers, cars, and their own private island nations.
