Penelope Cruz has spoken out about pregnancy rumors--I guess that's the price you pay for wearing an ultra-comfortable dress on the red carpet! While many people said that the actress was going to start showing any day now, PopEater has the truth via USA Today.

While promoting her new film Broken Promises in Toronto, Cruz addressed the rumors herself, saying that even her friends believed what they were hearing-slash-reading. While her pals picked her gifts for the mystery bundle of joy, Penelope said that she was telling them to "return the presents" because she really wasn't pregnant after all.

She followed up by saying that the rumor mill was "amazing." It definitely is, but who can blame us for hoping that Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz finally settle down a bit?
