Penelope Cruz Takes Oscar Fashion to a Whole New Level

Now, I don't normally love princess gowns. I think anyone who needs to get married looking like an upside-down cupcake in a tiara should be shot on sight. On that note, I loved Penelope Cruz's gown at the Oscars.

A vintage Balmain, the Vicky Christina Barcelona star wowed on the red carpet as well as accepting her Oscar for best supporting actress. The most amazing part about the gown? Like any good love story (Slumdog Millionaire?), Cruz came across the dress years back, but only until last week was reunited with the lovely off-white stunner.

Meant to be? I think so.
