Peter Andre: My lyrics are about troubled marriage

Peter Andre has admitted that the lyrics to his new songs were inspired by his marital problems. It had been rumoured that the words to new singles like Call the Doctor and Behind Closed Doors were about his split with Katie Price.

And now the singer, dad to Junior and Princess and stepdad to Harvey, has confirmed that he wrote the songs from his heart. He said: "Obviously Unconditional's extremely special to me because of Harvey but songs like Call the Doctor and Distance, these songs have a whole different meaning to me because I was going through some really hard times with wifey. You'll hear what I'm talking about when you hear them. "Then there's other songs like Behind Closed Doors, says it all. You think you know what people are like but you don't, you really don't. None of us know what happens behind closed doors and everybody, everybody has secrets behind closed doors, everyone."
