Pippa Middleton Wears Cute Red Dress in NYC, Entire World Flips Out
Designer's website nearly crashes with requests as the "Pippa Effect" Strikes Again
Pippa Middleton is a pro at making headlines over her wardrobe choices. After all, who can forget the international frenzy causes by her derriere-friendly, white maid-of-honor dress at sister Kate's wedding to Prince William last year?
This week, Pippa was in NYC where she reportedly spent several days taking meetings about her upcoming party-planning book, titled "Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Family and Friends." On Thursday night, however, she took a break from business to celebrate her 29th birthday at downtown hotspot Toy. The big news of the evening, however, wasn't how many candles were on her cake, it was all about the hot red dress she wore on her back.
Almost as soon as the form-fitting frock was identified as designer Misha Nonoo's $345 "Imelda" dress, his site was immediately bombarded with requests. According to the New York Post, Bergdorf Goodman, who carries the line, is now rushing their next shipment of Nonoo's dresses to meet the sudden demand.
It's not the first time a Middleton sister's style has sparked a buying crazy. After Kate donned a blue Issa dress for her engagement announcement to the Prince, the dress immediately sold out. Same goes with the Bobbi Brown palette Kate reportedly used to do her own makeup for the wedding.

Frankly, we think Pippa's dress is a knockout, but a little on the pricey side. We'll wait for the knockoff version instead!
