Pixar's 'Brave' Hits Blu-ray With Extra Features, Bonus Short Film

Pixar's Brave, the story of a young Scottish lass defying the elders and saving her kingdom, arrives on Blu-ray next week complete with tons of bonus features.

With Brave, Pixar finally showed the world what a fairy tale is supposed to look like: gorgeous hillsides, courageous heroines and ghastly villains.

Merida (voiced by Boardwalk Empire star Kelly MacDonald) is a wild young princess who unwittingly lets loose an ancient curse that threatens to destroy her country. Armed with her bow and arrow, Merida must "discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo the beastly curse before it's too late."

And now Merida is coming to Blu-ray.

The critically acclaimed film arrives on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and DVD combo pack this Tuesday, packed with extra goodies including behind the scenes features, extended and deleted scenes, and a mysterious new short film, The Legend of Mor'du.
