Gonna go out on a limb here and guess that Hallmark doesn't make a card for this particular holiday: Planned Parenthood tweeted wishes for a "Happy Masturbation Month" for its followers, along with a handy -- pun intended -- link to "lots of info on masturbation."

The Planned Parenthood org of Southwest and Central Florida initially sent the tweet, which was then retweeted by the national organization:

The link leads to a Planned Parenthood masturbation FAQ, which includes answers to questions like "what is masturbation?" "how common is masturbation?" "why do people masturbate?" and, yes, "how do people masturbate?" with some specific answers.

And under the "what are some common myths about masturbation?" readers are assured that the act will NOT lead to blindness, will NOT cause men to run out of sperm and will NOT make you gay, make you go insane or make you blind.

TheBlaze.com reports this new campaign comes after a California Planned Parenthood branch launched an initiative last month in which it encouraged people to use 40 different prayers to support abortion rights for women.

You have to give Planned Parenthood this: they know how to get attention.
