Raffaelo Follieri Boo-Hoos About Prison Poo-Poo

Those uptown prisons are so much nicer.

This just in: Prison sucks. That from Anne Hathaway's convict ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, who says conditions in lockup are intolerable.

Follieri's lawyer, Flora Edwards, is requesting that her delicate client be moved from the Brooklyn federal lockup to the Manhattan Metropolitan Correctional Center. The Brooklyn facility is apparently rife with stinkiness, spoiled food, and unsanitary toilets and showers.

"He says the stench is intolerable," Edwards wrote. "Clearly no one should be subjected to these conditions."

Maybe so. But isn't that what you would call, um, let's see, prison? Maybe you should have thought of that before you scammed all those people, Raffaelo.

We can't imagine Follieri's 4 1/2-year prison sentence is going to be easy for him. But after you've ripped off the church, life is pretty much one big stanky toilet.
