Ready for the Caviar Hamburger from...Wendy's?
The Catch? They'll Only Be Sold Overseas
Think fast food can't contain quality ingredients? Think again. Wendy's will be rolling out hamburgers topped with caviar and lobster for the super-reasonable price $16. The bad news: You'll have to pay about $3,000 extra in airfare if you get a midnight craving.
The specialty burgers, you see, will only be available in select locations in Japan. And, for you doubting Thomases we'd like to point out that this is not Wendy's first foray into luxury Japanese burgers - in 2011, the company had some success with a foie gras burger and porcini mushroom topped grilled chicken sandwich.

Why we won't get them here? A rep for U.S. Wendy's locations wasn't entirely sure, but confirmed it's not happening. Which we think kinda stinks, no?
Then again, maybe it's for the better. How good can the caviar be if the entire burger is under 20 bucks?
So for the lucky Japanese, it's a $16 burger. For those of us living stateside we'll have to stick to a regular old Wendy's burger. You could always toss some caviar of your own on top!
