It's no secret that Oprah's network isn't doing the bang-up business that she hoped, with a recent report noting that "OWN may have lost as much as $330 million."

The National Enquirer (via Celebitchy.com) reports that Oprah was hoping to get some of her A-lister friends on board, reaching out to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Kirstie Alley.
A source tells the Enquirer: "Oprah pitched John [Travolta] on the idea of doing a reality series that would focus on him and Kelly Preston raising their new baby. Then she phoned Tom [Cruise], wondered if wife Katie Holmes might be interested in doing a fashion and shopping show."
