The Metropolitan Museum of Art celebrates the "Model as Muse"

A bevy of A-listers packed the red carpet of the famed museum last night to fete the Costume Institute's new model-themed exhibit-Kate Moss, Twiggy, Cindy Crawford, and Claudia Schiffer were there, among others-and show off the most glamorous of looks.

Celeb highlights included co-chair Justin Timberlake (in his William Rast line) with his Versace-clad girlfriend Jessica Biel, Anne Hathaway in a 60's-style bouffant and Marc Jacobs mini-dress, Heidi Klum looking not-a-bit pregnant in J. Mendel, Blake Lively in slit-up-to-there Versace, and Jessica Alba on the arm and in the dress of Michelle Obama fave, Jason Wu.

Some possible style missteps were had by Rihanna-in a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo with dramatic bigger-than-the-80's shoulders-and Madonna in a crinkled Louis Vuitton dress, fabric bunny ears, and dominatrix boots. No doubt their looks were deemed muse-worthy to some.
