Did Rihanna and Chris Brown kiss and make up at the 2012 Video Music Awards?

It sure looked that way.

After Rihanna won a Video Music Award for her We Found Love video, Brown stopped her for a hug and kiss to congratulate Rihanna before she sat down.

This is a hard one to swallow, given the fact that Brown seriously beat Rihanna three years ago.

Here's hoping she's not going to just forgive and forget about that, although she did tell Oprah in a recent interview, "He was the love of my life," adding, "I have forgiven him. It took me a long time. I was angry for a long time."

She did note in the interview with Winfrey that awards shows can be "awkward ... My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me. I have to maintain that and suppress it."

The consensus is that it's a congratulatory kiss on the cheek, it happened quickly and it's time to move on, but there are plenty of Brown haters who think Rihanna should keep her distance.
