Rob Lowe Calls Canadian City "Hellhole" in Twitter Rant
Rob Lowe Slams Winnipeg, Canada on Twitter
Oh, Rob Lowe, I'm not sure you're dashingly good looks are going to get you out of this pickle.
Lowe pissed off some Canadians when he tweeted from the fair city of Winnipeg, noting it was a "hellhole."
That was "literally" the wrong thing to say (I'm channeling Lowe's Parks and Recreation character Chris Traeger here).

Lowe was in Winnipeg filming a Lifetime movie about Casey Anthony, when he insulted the residents' city.
On June 12, Lowe tweeted about being stuck in the "hellhole," writing: “The local affiliate is interrupting the 4th quarter of the #NBAFinals to show city council election results!!!#TrappedInAHellHole”
That went out to 360,000 followers, some of whom are Canadian residents -- and none were too thrilled by Lowe's diss.
According to The Edmonton Journal, Twitter residents of Winnipeg called Lowe a "jerk" and "schmuck" in response to his slam.
One resident tweeted: "Feel free to leave the hell hole. I'm sure another great thespian could take your roll [sic]."
Lowe did respond to the Twitter haters, noting that it wasn't the city of Winnipeg he had a beef with, but rather the sports bar he was watching the game in: "Will find a better sports bar. Was the worst!!!"

Hopefully that smoothed down some of the outrage -- seriously, how could you stay mad at that face?
