Rob Lowe Co-Hosting 'Good Morning America' Today
Don't Worry … There Will Be Video Clips Available Later in the Day
He was reportedly among those under consideration to take over Regis Philbin's co-hosting spot beside Kelly Ripa, and it seems Rob Lowe still has talk show hostin' on his mind. The Parks and Recreation star announced to his Twitter followers on Monday that he'll be co-hosting Tuesday morning's Good Morning America on ABC.

"FYI. Am co hosting #GMA tomorrow! Can't wait! #teamRobin #TelePrompTer #Broadcastnews," Lowe tweeted to his 450,000+ followers.
Lowe is one of many celebs who's popped in for guest stints on GMA while co-host Robin Roberts is on medical leave after her bone marrow transplant surgery.
But we think the personable actor is looking to add a more regular talk show job to his resume.
Lowe, who continues his role as "lit-rally"-spouting optimistic government employee Chris on the fourth season of Parks and Recreation, is also starring as Ulysses S. Grant in the upcoming Civil War miniseries To Appomattox. Damian Lewis, Noah Wyle, Walton Goggins, William Petersen, Dwight Yoakam, Bill Paxton, Neal McDonough, Jason O'Mara, Johnathon Schaech and Kim Delaney also star.

Lowe, whose laidback personality, sense of humor and pop culture fandom would make him a great talk show host or co-host in our humble opinion, is also reportedly planning to write a sequel to his 2011 autobiography Stories I Only Tell My Friends.
So check him out as he hosts GMA today (or look for clips online later) … you could be watching the next big daytime or primetime talk show host.
Seriously, look at that face in the photo above. That's a face that's meant to banter with a co-host and discuss the minutiae of his life with someone on TV every morning.
