Robert Pattinson Chips Tooth While Flossing
Robert's Super Clean
Do you floss? Robert Pattinson does-- and he does so well enough that he can chip a tooth. Thanks to another interview with mentions to his hygiene (really?!), we now know that he's cleaner than expected, and that actress Bryce Dallas Howard doesn't floss.
One of the New Year's resolutions for journalists should be NOT to ask anyone about how dirty (or clean) Robert Pattinson is! I feel like we've exhausted the topic of his hair, and have now moved on to the teeth.
Bryce Dallas Howard, who will play bad vamp Victoria in Eclipse, said that Pattinson was actually "incredibly hygienic," and that he's an approachable, down-to-earth guy. Scratch off two reasons I was tentatively considering to proclaim I was so over him for 2010!
"I actually came out to him that I was totally nervous about [meeting him]," Howard said on the red carpet before the premiere of her new film, The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond.
"He told me this story that made me crack up," she continued. "He was like, ‘Oh, I have to go to the dentist.' And I was like, ‘Oh no, what happened? Just a check-up?' And he was like, ‘No, I chipped a tooth.' And I was like, ‘How?' And he was like, ‘Flossing.' Who does that? I don't even floss. So he's hygienic. Trust me."
My only guess is that this New Moon star was using one of those plastic flossing thingies, and slipped. Otherwise, the fact that he chipped a tooth doing routine hygiene is something to puzzle over.
In other news, it sounds like Bryce loooves herself some Robert Pattinson. It must be frustrating to be celebrating the release of a film entirely unrelated to the Twilight Saga, and still be asked about Robert Pattinson's hygiene, though.
