Robert Pattinson Discusses His Music Career

Robert Pattinson digs gigs...and we want to see him perform.

While all the world awaits his blockbuster role in New Moon, Robert Pattinson is thinking about something else: his opportunities as a musician. Pattinson told an Australian paper that he'd be up for touring (yes!) but he's not as keen on recording an album.

"I'm not particularly interested in releasing [an album], but I'd like to do some gigs," Rob said. He notes there's only one challenge: "I guess the only way to do that is to get an album out."

Well, unless you're Robert Pattinson. We're thinking his looks alone could sell out any venue, and Rob says he might have to cash in on that, as he feels his musical talent is maybe not as magnetic as his sex appeal. He laughed as he explained his guitar skills: "I never manage more than five chords. I have to work on that."
