Robert Pattinson Has Never Done a Romantic Thing

Maybe he can practice on us

When we watch Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen in Twilight, we swoon. We want a man like that! He's just do romantic and adorable (remember when he surprises Bella and takes her to the prom?). But Robert Pattinson is actually not romantic at all in real life. Sigh.

But we think we could change him! After all, sometimes a man just needs to meet the right kind of girl before he starts getting all romantic. But for now, when asked about romance, Robert Pattinson says, "I can't think of a single romantic thing that I've ever done." Ever? We wonder if that means he doesn't do anything romantic for Kristen Stewart?

But then Robert does admit that he has done something romantic before. When he was 15. And it didn't go over so well. He says, "I put a flower in someone's locker when I was 15 years old, this girl called Maria. She thought that it was someone else and the other guy claimed it as well, which is great." Aww, maybe Robert is stuck with the fear that this will happen all over again. Maybe he just needs to meet us!

But just because Robert isn't out serenading girls and being all romantic, doesn't mean he can't appreciate a good romantic movie. In fact, Robert admits, "It's like saying guys can't appreciate romance... I've watched Titanic and I didn't think, 'Oh, this is a girl's film.'" And it seems like he feels the same way about the second Twilight movie as well. He says, "I felt like the storyline in New Moon is very heartbreaking and true. I didn't think I was doing something just for the sake of romance."

We love a man who can appreciate a good romantic movie! We think Robert Pattinson will come around eventually. We think he often tries to act a lot tougher than he actually is. And like we said, he just hasn't met the right girl yet. Um, hi, right here!
