Robert Pattinson Hit by Taxicab - Fans Not to Blame

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson has reportedly been involved in a collision with a New York taxicab. The 23-year-old British star was clipped on his hip by the cab as he filmed scenes for his latest movie in Manhattan.

But movie bosses say the hunky star was not injured in the incident and returned to work. They also rubbished claims that Pattinson was trying to escape from fans, who have been tracking him around the city as he works on Remember Me. "Rob Pattinson is fine, the reports are exaggerated and it was not caused by fans. Production continues," said a spokesman for production company Summit Entertainment. Pattinson has been surrounded with bodyguards because of the number of female admirers hanging around the film set.
