Robert Pattinson Is A Breakout Star
What a difference a year makes!
Can you imagine that most of us didn't know who Robert Pattinson was a year ago? It's hard to believe, but it's true. EW.com came out with their list of the 10 Breakout Stars of 2008 and the Twilight star tops the list.
When Robert was cast as Edward Cullen, the sexy vampire in Twilight, this catapulted Pattinson to instant hot celebrity status. Before Twilight hit the big screen, you may have heard of Robert when he played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Or, maybe not.
Small roles and anonymity are things of the past for Robert Pattinson. He is a heartthrob! Die-hard Twilight fans hang around his apartment in Los Angeles, and anywhere he goes.
The good news is that he is taking his new success very well. He is currently shooting the Twilight sequel, New Moon, in Vancouver and locals say that he is just delightful. Good to hear!
