Robert Pattinson Not Hurt By Taxi Incident

Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson was reportedly clipped on the hip by a cab as he tried to run across a Manhattan street to get away from a mob of mostly female fans. Pattinson did not appear to be injured and made his way on foot from the incident.

He was reportedly leaving the popular bookstore The Strand at the time. The star of Twilight is at work on the film Remember Me, which is being shot near New York University in Greenwich Village. A source on the set said: "It’s been non-stop busy all day with people trying to get a glimpse of him, and the crowd goes nuts when they do see him. "I think he appreciates it. He’s not one to make a big deal about it. He’s a chill guy and quiet so far ... I think he finds it a little weird that people are standing outside all day to get a glimpse of him, but grateful." After the incident Pattinson reportedly hired his own security in addition to that provided by Summit Entertainment.
